This year’s graduation wasn’t just about getting diplomas—it was about demonstrating determination. Their success stories were the heartbeat of Lively Tech.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT:
Seraiah Parker – From Dreamer to Business Owner
“Understand that my story is a testament to what can happen when passion meets perseverance.” – Seraiah Parker

Meet Seraiah Parker, a graduate of Lively Tech’s Cosmetology Program and a flourishing entrepreneur. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Seraiah stepped into the beauty industry with aspirations and left Lively with not just a license, but a brand.

While completing the rigorous 1,200-hour program, Seraiah developed far more than just technical mastery—she built a foundation in beauty standards, anatomy and physiology, chemistry and sanitation, marketing, communication, time management, and client care. But her ambition didn’t stop there. She launched her own line of cosmetics, which she learned to make on-site at school. Selling her products locally contributed to elevating her presence in the industry and strengthening her reputation as a trusted cosmetologist.

Through Lively Tech’s hands-on learning and real-world training, Seraiah brought her vision to life. Her journey exemplified how Lively’s focus on career-ready skills enabled students to start working before graduation day.

At Lively Technical College, students didn’t just learn—they applied themselves. Whether mastering a haircut, crafting culinary dishes, installing electrical wiring, or pouring concrete, every program was developed with career outcomes in mind. That’s why many of our students, like Seraiah, secured jobs, internships, or even started businesses before completing their final semester.

This graduation season reminded us that Lively Tech wasn’t just a school but a springboard. Our students overcame, and their success redefined what a technical education could look like.
