Lively Technical College Center for Career and Professional Development is available to assist graduate or non-graduate completers in their search for full-time or part-time employment opportunities. The Center for Career and Professional Development office is located in Building 9 – Admissions. Center for Career and Professional Development is a full-service engaging facility utilized to assist current students and alumni with career placement assistance, career counseling, career strategies, interview skills, resume and cover letter writing, workshops, lunch and learning workshop, and employers in meeting career and employment-related goals.

Lively Technical College offers a refund for tuition paid to students not hired within six months of meeting program and professional requirements. After completing the eligible workforce program, the student cannot be enrolled in an upper-level stackable program. Students eligible for the guarantee may receive a reimbursement of tuition only. Refund of fees, scholarships, grant awards, other expenses and/or charges are excluded from this money back guarantee.
Student must be continuously enrolled full-time (as defined by the program) throughout the entirety of the program and meet the minimum attendance or clock hour requirements outlined in the LTC Student Handbook.
Student must successfully compete all required courses outlined in the curriculum frameworks, earning no lessthan a final grade of C in all courses. Students receiving a W, D, F or I are ineligible. Students must remain ingood standing throughout the duration of the program, meaning students cannot have been placed on academicor attendance probation at any time during the term.
Student must pass all program certifications associated with the program.
Student must be in good financial standing with Lively Technical College.
Student must provide verifiable documentation as evidence of participation in at least three career day/careerfair in the last semester of enrollment or last month of graduation
Student must provide verifiable documentation of satisfactory completion of at least one work-based learningopportunity such as externship, internship, job shadow, career mentorship, clinical, practicum, apprenticeship,etc.
Student must be legally eligible for employment within the US and must not have a criminal background thatprevents employment within the career field.
Student must provide verifiable documentation that they have registered with Employ Florida and worked withthe local Career Source office to search for employment in the field of study.
Student must demonstrate through verifiable documentation their job search for in-field employment for atleast six months from the date of program completion. This search must include the verifiable submission of atleast 30 applications that are related to the field of study. The student must provide evidence of completing atleast 10 good faith interviews for jobs related to their program of study (e.g., documents such as an email orletter of invitation to interview, confirmation of non-selection etc.).
Student must be willing to travel or relocate to a new market to obtain employment within the field.
Student must seek services from the institution’s Admissions department to develop a career plan within the last semester of enrollment. The student must provide verifiable documentation as evidence of the creation and adherence to the career plan.
NOTE: Satisfying the eligibility criteria establishes eligibility to be considered for reimbursement; it does not guarantee reimbursement unless the student also demonstrates that they were unable to obtain employment in the field in which the student was trained within six (6) months of successful completion. Upon expiration of the six-month employment period, the student must submit a completed MBG reimbursement request and all required supporting documentation within the period established by the Technical College. The Technical College will review the request and determine whether the student satisfied all applicable eligibility criteria.
