Program Content / Objectives

This program will examine the role and responsibilities of the substitute teacher and will explore various strategies to increase the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process and behavior management in the classroom.

The Teacher Assisting program is a competency based program designed to prepare students for employment.

Courses for substitute teacher training are available through LeonCounty Schools in conjunction with Lively Technical Center.

All classes are taught at Lively Technical Center.
