Program Content / Objectives

This program prepares individuals to be clerical workers in hospital nursing units, physician offices, outpatient surgical centers, nursing homes and other health units. Students are introduced to the clinical area early in the program and proceed sequentially, correlating classroom theory and selected clinical application. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, interpersonal skills, and the moral, legal, and ethical implications relative to employment in a health care facility.

Requirements - A criminal background check and drug screening is required (drug screening will be performed randomly).
