Program Content / Objectives

This program is designed to train individuals for a career in graphic design for print production. Students will learn the foundations of graphic design, typography, layout, color theory, illustration, photography basics, and employability skills. Training includes professionally recognized software programs (PhotoShop CS2, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, etc.) on the Macintosh Platform.

Upon successful completion of the course requirements, the student will receive a Vocational Certificate in Commercial Art Technology, and have a portfolio demonstrating design skills.
